Diamonds 2024-2025

STPRD 6(Lee Road Recreation) is starting a competitive softball league program Fall 2024-Spring 2025 for girls ages 7 - 15. Age is based off of player's age on April 30, 2025.

Registration June 1st - June 30th

  • Competitive teams will play in approximately seven tournaments throughout the Fall 2024 - Summer 2025..
  • All players that play on the competitive team must also register and play on a regular season recreation team in Spring 2025.
  • Registration fees for the competitive team will be $500 and covers insurance, uniform(jersey, cap, belt and socks) and tournament fees for minimum of seven tournaments. Will set up payment plan for this registration fee.
  • Tournament fees will include any team entry fees and the umpire fees for three games per tournament. If we play more tournaments than what the $700 per player fee covers, parent/guardians will need to pay out of pocket.
  • If for some reason the team plays more than three games then the team will have to pay the additional fees at that time. Umpire fees are $35 - $65 per game and team tournament entry fees range from $150 - $300 per tournament. Our goal is to find tournaments without team entry fees.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for all travel expenses and gate admission fees into tournaments.
  • Tournaments could be played in Hammond, Gulfport, New Orleans area and Baton Rouge area.
  • Registration fees will be paid if your child selected for a team. Uniforms will not be ordered until registration fee is paid.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for glove, cleats, batting helmet with face mask, infield face mask, game pants and bat(not required but recommended).
  • MAX of 12 players per team.
Evaluations and team selection for the competitive teams will be done by a third party.

Anyone interested in coaching a competitive team must register online.

Cheer 2024

Players age group is determined by players age on September 1, 2024

Registration fee is $110 per player. Registration fees include uniform(poms, top, skirt and bloomers), insurance. Registration is not complete until all fees are paid. There will be a $25.00 out of district fee charged for anyone living outside of STPRD 6 boundaries(same as Lee Road Jr High School District)

We will have a day for cheerleaders to get uniform fittings.

Anyone interested in coaching must register online and will have to pass a criminal background check.

Practices will begin in August. All practices will be held at the Lee Road Recreation Facility.
Practice days and times will be scheduled once registration is complete.

Games will begin the week of Sept. 2nd and run through beginning of November. Games will be played at Lee Road, Folsom and Abita Springs.
Games will be scheduled once all parks have completed their registrations.

Cheerleaders will also participate in the St Tammany Parish Fair parade, Covington Christmas parade, Franklinton Christmas Parade and Cheer Competitions.

Volleyball 2024

Volleyball is for girls and boys age 7-15. Practices will begin at the beginning of August and games will begin at the end of August. All games will be played at Coquille. Players age group will be determined by their age on July 1, 2024.
Age groups will be 7/8, 9/10, 11/12 and 13/15.

Parents are responsible for supplying knee pads. All registered players will receive a game jersey.

Registration fee is $90.00 per player. Registration is not complete until all fees are paid. There will be a $25.00 out of district fee charged for anyone living outside of the STPRD 6 boundaries(same as Lee Road Jr High school district).

Anyone interested in coaching volleyball must register online and will have to pass a criminal background check.

We will offer 4/5 t-ball/coach pitch in the Fall. We need a minimum of 50 players to be able to play. This will be a hybrid t-ball. Meaning players will get pitched to first and then if needed hit off the tee.


All players will receive a game jersey, socks, belt and caps. T-ball receives cap and jersey only.
Parents/guardians will need to provide batting helmet(all girls batting helmets requires a facemask), cleats and glove. Bats are recommended but not required. BATTING HELMETS ARE REQUIRED IN ALL AGE GROUPS.
Infield facemasks are required for all softball players ages 6yrs and up.

All softball players are required to have infield face mask.

NOTE: FLAG FOOTBALL AND FALL BASEBALL/SOFTBALL PRACTICES AND GAMES WILL OVERLAP.

All players must supply their own mouth guards. You can purchase them at any sporting goods store or through NFL Flag at time of registration.
Players will be supplied with a game jersey and flags. If additional flags needs to be purchased the cost will be $10.00. Mouth guards will be available for purchase at the concession stand for $6.00 each.

NOTE: FLAG FOOTBALL AND FALL BASEBALL/SOFTBALL SEASON WILL OVERLAP WITH PRACTICES AND GAMES.
